Symposium The
Trust will be mounting a display again at this annual event. Volunteers needed
to help run the display. Tuesday 3 March 2009 Flint Knapping Group meeting
7.30pm start. Thursday 19 March 2009 Quiz Night at the Archaeology Centre Our
annual quiz for teams of up to 6 people. £5 per person to include buffet
supper. Bring your own drinks. Raffle. Come on your own & join a team on the

was National Archaeology Week has been renamed & extended to last a
fortnight. We will have a new
display in our Temporary Gallery & be some way down the road towards
redisplaying our main galleries. 2009 will be the 20th anniversary of SHAHT taking over the old police station, so we
plan to celebrate this. Tuesday 4 August 2009 Flint Knapping Group meeting

Lecture (venue t.b.a.) Forensic
Botany by Michael Keith Lucas. £5.00. Raffle, mulled wine & mince pies. This is
only a partial list, other events will be arranged during the year. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7pm - 9.30pm. These
continue to be evenings when volunteers work together on various aspects of post
excavation processing. Everyone
welcome.
Measuring, labelling and cataloguing
flint artefacts from excavations in the local area Library The Library is always open on Tuesday
and Thursday evenings and at other times by arrangement. Young Archaeologists Club The club
is well attended and meets on one Saturday in the month (dates t.b.a.).
